Re: New ISOs in ce/testing

Re: Breakage and News tracker for debian testing [buster]

I'm running fine:

Code: Select all

cihonm@cihonm:~$ apt policy systemd
systemd:
  Installed: 238-2
  Candidate: 238-2
  Version table:
 *** 238-2 500
        500 http://httpredir.debian.org/debian testing/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Must be other factors involved.

Re: Desktop not used for 1 year, forgets CMOS but not any more?

Re: Do we really need clamav? Or maybe apparmor?

From this article it seem Apparmor is very complicated to set up and as you introduce new applications you would have to learn how to configure it for each application.

Re: My external USB harddisk just died ...

If it is a sata drive and you have a desktop, you could try to use another sata connection in there and see if it will spin up.

Re: [Solved] How about a SolydM?

Guys wouldn't it be easier to create a debian install and pick Mate as the DE during the install.
Then after that add the solyd repo and get the solyd packages that way?

Re: Breakage and News tracker for debian testing [buster]

I haven't seen any updates in the last 2 days.
Anybody know where I can look to see if something is going on?
Maybe everyone is just taking a break.

Re: Impressed so far

Another way to distro hop or test is to use Virtualbox or some Virtual program. As long as you have some extra disk space and memory.

Re: Breakage and News tracker for debian testing [buster]

I must have missed a step somewhere in getting buster to work. Here is what I am getting this morning: dcihon@solydk-testing:/var/log$ sudo apt-get autoremove && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade Reading package lists...
