To come back home (sorry, been of the world for a couple of weeks), I like the idea to concentrate on 2 DEs, on obviously, looking at Schoelje's history XFCE and KDE would be the chosen ones. Somebody else (like me) would have rather done LXDE and KDE ... etc. Point is - one for the guys who like it...

I think tilda is great for certain things, like dmesg tail or top, as in the screenshot below. Or when you want to enter a command quickly. No restart - but Xorg was busy using a huge part of my cpu and the PC was slow. I killed Xorg, logged in and all was back to normal.

So .... last night it didn't restart itself. I had only Deluge running. I will open FF and Opera before I go to work and see what happened when I coma back tonight .... :?:

Edit: Jr just said that he was on this machine and restarted it today - so look at the restart last night rather ....

With a heavy heart I return to this. When I leave the PC on it still restarts itself. I can't tell you when, but it is after some time since I have a huge amount of a download done. But it does happen. I also have my screensaver set to not start automatically - but it does. Very annoying when watchi...
