You should be able to do it through the GUI. Go to System Settings > Application and System Notifications > Applications > Event Source: KDE Workspace . I can confirm that this also happened to me and the fix worked... I have a Nvidia GF 210.

How about we include this packages default for user friendly purposes?

Another suggestion... You can maybe make a package that will install all the other packages so you can make any Solyd a BO... And Then I was thinking about how we can test this... Maybe we can make a list of scenario's that needs testing and then we can run them trough one at a time... Anyway. Good ...

The problem with doing that is that root access is required to change your startup sound... But thanks for the Idea. :D
