Does anyone know how ZeroZero is doing?

I miss ZeroZero. I thought he was the best Linux moderator and a great example of just how beneficial a moderator could be within the Linux community. I miss his knowledge but most of all I miss his caring attitude. Not only would ZeroZero answer questions dilligently but he would often go beyond an...

Re: Strange Behavior

menu > settings > settings manager > session & startup > 1st tab (general) > "automatically save session on logout" is ticked? Using my normal login I cannot get into session & startup. It goes through the exact sequence of events I described earlier with Opera, shut down screen flashes for just a ...

So now it's not Firefox but the note application I opened before I started Opera. My guess is this is not g...

Strange Behavior

Lately I have run into a host of problems related to Opera and Firefox. Whenever I start Opera I get my screen flashes to the shutdown screen and then the login dialog box appears. I log in, and there is an open Firefox session showing in my panel. If I attempt to open Opera the circle repeats itsel...

Re: One tune a day ...

seven variations on a tune Nice! :D Some interesting variations. While Fado is relatively new to me, I think I'm already firmly in the camp of the traditionalist. I understand why Amalia has become an object of adoration in Portugal. (This is an assumption on my part based on reading what I can fin...

Hey EvilK,

Best of luck with your new job and congratulations for getting back home. I have never been to Maine but all the people I've met from Maine had one ambition and that was to go back. So again - congratulations and best of luck :D

Re: One tune a day ...

i'm going to make you a real portuguese Yeah, you got me with my first listen of Mariza and Barco Negro. It was a "Wow, what is this I'm listening to" moment. Now, I spend my time listening to Fado, reading Jose Saramago, eating caldo verde, while wondering if I'm related to Amalia Rodrigues. ;)
