Re: Important SolydXK news

i hope there's some kind of tutorial how to "migrate" the 32 bit version into debian repositories and how-to purge any not-planned-to-maintain-package solyd 32 bit tools that may be not compatible with debian in the future at the time of solydxk 32 bit end of life. i have a box that still runs the f...

Re: google as search engine can't enable it in Firefox Solyd

I think the searchbox at the top-right corner of Firefox already provided Google Us as a choice of search engine in a dropdownlist. we all should have this drop-down menu with several search engines pre-installed. the "manage search engines > get more search engine" option changed in the last 2 iso...

I think the searchbox at the top-right corner of Firefox already provided Google Us as a choice of search engine in a dropdownlist. as for build in search engine, open the Firefox and type : about:config search for : keyword.URL and replace the value of https://duckduckgo.com/?t=lm&q= with: https://...

Re: Laptop battery improvements.

maybe you can look at Xfce Power Manager, and adjust the setting at "On Battery" tab such as prefer power savings over performance and Spin down hard disks.

the icon should be at the systray, or you can open terminal and type

Code: Select all

xfce4-power-manager
