Thanks to you all for your help! I have investigated various things trying to get to the bottom of this. it seems that each process seems to be using far to much ram no matter how I measure it. Using far too much ram

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I downloaded and installed "solydx32_201405" and when booted up I opened task manager and I'm using 596 megs of ram. This is really heavy for Xfce, can anyone shine any light on this please? would be really grateful. Also changed the repositories from the USA...
