Re: ICE SSB from Peppermint

As a general rule only the most necessary or most widely missed packages are maintained in the SolydX repos. Ultimately this is Arjens decision, but since nobody else has chimed in re. ICE I wouldn't expect anything soon. If MX16 has packages it should be easy to use them but - if you are on 64bit ...

Re: ICE SSB from Peppermint

It doesn't look like there is a debian package maintainer for this software - not even in sid. So it doesn't look like it's going to be in the software center soon - if ever. This is not surprising since it belongs to another distribution. I've seen successful installation reports for Ubuntu though...

Re: Very fine distro

Just for the simplicity I use mainly Antergos with KDE Plasma, but love to boot into SolydK too. A few more softwares (which I use) and I could use it as my main drive. I am still impressed and like SolydK a lot, otherwise it would have been deleted already, but I trust it will stay with me for a ev...

Re: Google drive

Thank you all guys for your help, very much appreciate. And your help actually solved the problem. Any Idea how to get the Gmail Calendar integrated? On Plasma is a widget which adds a new calendar and works fine but the same widget gives me an error message (course it won't run  ) That would ...

Re: Very fine distro

if you can handle arch you'll surely could handle the enthusiast edition which based on debian testing. it almost similar with the main edition (i.e: rocking stable, fast) but it rolls :3 I think I could, but it is supposed to be most important for my wife to be a reliable OS ;-) And I just started...

Re: Very fine distro

Stable and reliable, that is what I need and rolling release in sense off no new install is exactly what i need. Rather stable than testing. My wife works in a reserve and is often on her own without me able to help her if a problem would happen. Also internet is challenging in a reserve. As I wrote...

Gemail Calendar integration (KDE)

Hi SolydXK Friends, I am new to SolidXK and wonder how to integrate the Gmail Calendar into the System Calendar (visible at the bar with time). Also, Google Drive integration would be great. Not sure if that is the right forum though  Update: That is the same responds I got from the KDE forum ...

Very fine distro

I will start with some background. I was using for a long time Debian and Ubuntu. But since Micro$oft rapes Ubuntu and forced them in bed with Micro$oft,I had to look else where for a Micro$oft free operating system. So, I used Antergos, made my way to Arch and looked for my wife to get a stable rel...
