Re: SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

I'm testing this version on a HDMIPI screen - 1280x800 resolution. It doesn't have a good EDID output, so normally the Pi tries to use it in 1920x1080 mode and it looks terrible - sometimes the screen jumps up and down and scanlines are missed - some sort of internittent timing problem. So, I normal...

Re: SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

Ok, so I should use the community edition one instead of the one dated 4/7/2018?

Is there also a 32bit version for the RPi?

Re: SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

procount : Arjen has published a new SolydX RPi3 for testing purposes here: https://forums.solydxk.com/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=7280 . Sorry, I didn't have notifications enabled, so I've only just seen this when I was checking if Solydxk had been updated. The latest version seems to be from 4/7/2018 he...

Re: SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

Hi, I previously converted SolydxK to be installed by PINN (fork of NOOBS). With the arrival of the new RPI3B+ I have returned to see if there was a version of SolydXK available for this new model. But I see it has been discontinued, apart from a community edition. Can I ask if this has been or will...

Re: New SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

SolydX is now fully included in the latest release of PINN, which offers an easy alternative to installing and multi-booting several OSes on the Raspberry Pi. Please see the following link for the release announcement of PINN (see v2.4.2a) Download the PINN installation file from sourceforge or use ...

Re: New SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

My post-processing is almost done. expandfs is removed and I had to replace the RPI firmware with a version that allows autobooting, but it all seems to work nicely in testing. During installation of each OS, PINN/NOOBS displays a slideshow that highlights features of each OS that the maintainer mig...

Re: New SolydX RPI for the Raspberry PI 3

I am the author of PINN, a NOOBS based multiboot manager. I am writing this post from my RPi3 using SolydXK after having installed it through PINN. I created an installation package of SolydXK to do this and will post it up soon when I have solved the following problem.... After having installed Sol...
