Re: Discover doesn't automatically detect package updates

Arjen Balfoort is it possible to instruct the system to show the updates when it is offline and I manually connect to the Internet?
If so how do I do that?

Re: Discover doesn't automatically detect package updates

I never have to run apt update. I too use wifi with my system and this morning I had an update on the kernel. I really don't know what is causing your system not to update the apt cache. Arjen Balfoort I will try to explain better what happened yesterday: I was offline and my system wasn't set to a...

Re: Discover doesn't automatically detect package updates

It should. This is part of the solydxk-system package. Please verify that you have that package installed. solydxk-system installs the following apt configuration file: /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/02solydxk-periodic which has these settings enabled: APT::Periodic::Enable "1"; APT::Periodic::Update-Package-...

Discover doesn't automatically detect package updates

Hello people :-)
I noticed that Discover doesn't detect package updates unless I run "apt update" as root in SolydK 64 bit.
Please let me know if you need more info.

Re: LibreOffice Calc number of results

Install the packet "snapd" and dependencies. You can do that with a packetmanager or by typing in a terminal "sudo apt install snapd". Then in a terminal type: "sudo snap install libreoffice". You will find the icons then in the menu (office) after restarting Xfce. You can use both libreoffice-vers...

So, I recommend to install LibreOffice 6 via snap in SolydXK 9.
Can you please explain me how do I do that?

Oh, it lists the results. You mean, it should show the sum?
Yes.
For example X results found where X is a number.

I am using SolydX 64 bit and LibreOffice 5.2.7.2.
When I press Ctrl+F, write the terms and click Find All it doesn't show the number of results.
Is it possible to activate this feature?
Thank you in advance

Firefox ESR extensions

Hello :)
I have Firefox ESR 52.9.0 installed which has 3 extensions: HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger and Ublock Origin.
Will these extensions stop to work if I update to Firefox ESR 60.2.0?
