Re: UP - 01/07/2014 [TESTING]

grizzler, I think I already know the answer, but akisng anyway: do you have any experience packaging kde or something else for debian? Anyone not reading the instructions will blow up his system. That'll teach 'em! Well, this is just blaming users for packaging problems which developers weren't able...

Re: kdenext going to be dropped

Since I can just attach three files in a message, I'm attaching in this one the other three remaining IRC logs. The 6th volume ends in August 2, 2013. If I remember correctly, a few days after, we got the first SolydK version with kdenext providing kde 4.10.5 (whitout kdenext it would be providing k...

Re: kdenext going to be dropped

Hi, I have an opinion about your opinions but I will keep it for myself for now, I guess I will wait for you to discuss the matter and post them later. Instead I will add more information and clarify a couple of things: So I hope that either there will be a way to get the latest KDE anyway If I unde...

kdenext going to be dropped

Hello, one day ago I got a private message notyfing me that kdenext is going to be discontinued http://solydxk.nl/the-future-of-solydk-kdenext/ I would like to say that: This decision was taken without even asking me (I'm a KDE developer and packager and current maintainer of kdenext). As a person w...

Re: UP - 31/10/2013 [TESTING]

Hi Schoelje,

I have a couple of updates for KDE in the usual place. One is to increase the version of kdelibs for convenience, and the other one (the important one) is a bug fix for kde-baseapps/dolphin; right now if you open the trash can from the desktop it opens the home directory instead.

Re: UP - 29/09/2013 [TESTING]

I just updated kget, kopete, libktorrent, libkopete and removed xserver-xorg-video-chips from the repository. I then tested it on SolydK64 with UM: no issues. Thanks a lot. I have another couple of updates: One is kdelibs; I have changed this package recently in siduction to use udisks2 instead of ...

Re: UP - 29/09/2013 [TESTING]

Hi, I just sent Santa a PM. I suggested to remove both kopete and xserver-xorg-video-chips from our kdenext repository, but would like to know if he has another idea. xserver-xorg-video-chips was included by accident, it should not be there. This package actually belongs to siduction's fixes reposit...

Re: restore qualculator in the runner

Hi I have updated SolydK to the latest UP, with the latest version of KDE and all; everything worked fine; wonderful as usual. Just one thing I have noticed: the calculator inside the runner (which you obtain by clicking alt+F2 or from the menu, by starting the command with "=") has reverted to a f...

Re: [Solved] KDE mouse theme

It seems this bug was fixed in kde 4.11.x, which is not stable yet but will be on mid August.

Re: UP - 30/07/2013 12:00 UTC

Hi,

the second round of updates is available in siduction's kdenext solydk suite. It seems ready to be part the UP.

We also have already a fixed opus, but it's not available yet.

Yes, out intention is to provide a custom fixed package for opus. This problem was there for months in sid, so I already had to fix it in siduction.

Re: UP - 30/07/2013 12:00 UTC

Hi, the first round of kde 4.10 packages is available here: deb http://packages.siduction.org/kdenext solydxk main You would need the siduction-archive-keyring package. I need to update some 4.10.4 bits to 4.10.5 and talk with Schoelje to upload the packages to a SolydK repo. The opus issue is still...

About KDE 4.10, siduction and SolydK

Hello, I have been working for the siduction packages for some time now. I have seen some of you are trying to upgrade SolydK to KDE 4.10 using the siduction repositories. Also I saw I was even mentioned in this forum  Probably I wasn't verbose enough about my work, so I would like to clarify s...
