Re: GDEBI hangs in loading of items

Glad you got it sorted, though Debian does update its drivers. The latest drivers just might have worked for you. Mint 15. No. I have an old installation of LMDE, though. I stopped using Ubuntu based distros, mostly because or their 6 month release cycle. I always thought that was kind of nuts. Way ...

Re: Breakages and News - SolydXK-tracking Debian SID

I have two Sid partitions, one SolydX, the other SolydK - Ran Siduction for a while but removed to start from the bottom up with a straight Debian Sid install, for further adventures and highjinks... :D Anyhoo, Xorg is broken on the K partition for some reason, and have been unable to find referenc...

Re: Grub Customizer

Karl

I have found your correct and you have to remove 'solyd*- grub2- theme" for custom pixs to work. Also all pictures do not work for me. Possibly the format, size, et. Try a few.

Perhaps its the icon set your using? ................. it won't let me change style/colours or icons in Appearance , the only thing that will change is the drawing of the window frames, like Crux for example, changes the outlines but no colours. Re: MATE Desktop in SolydX repos

........................ ay of playing out there in the world. Solyd will always be... Well... Solyd. There is always all this talk of bringing in other DEs. Frankly it mystifies me as these other DEs are only a few clicks away any time one wishes to try them; there is no reason to officially bring...

Re: Usage of Sid/Unstable repos with SolydXK

Thanks zerozero, I am going to have to try to figure out your method. Instead of just copy/pasting I'll have to figure out what things mean. Example sudo touch /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sid.list , I've never heard of the touch command. I'll study on it. Better to do it correctly than go for a quick f...

Re: Linux servers hit by Malware

Am I to understand correctly that this is just an issue on Linux Servers? I am ususally not to concerned with virus/malware issues with Linux, but this got my attention, as I just today installed a fresh installation of SolydX-64bit from the latest .iso (UP8). Running the command ssh -G 2>&1 | grep ...
