:) no problem; glad it's solved and was just a question to go to the distro that is controlling the MBR and update grub from there and not some random and more complex to solve error :D

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. problem solved in the terminal, we never know why apper refused to handle these updates. O/T this latest UP wasn't very disruptive, apart from the systemd integration; here, yes, we had (still have with some some users) some rough issue...

it shouldn't be like that (unless apper is again misbehaving :lol: )
those are part of the openssl security update to fix the POODLE bug and libgtk2 extra updates to fix the mutex error.
