Re: Why Ubuntu keeps pulling me back/ 10 things I hate about

I'm confused! So you have easy to use rolling release Distros such as SolydXK and Manjaro, and you're still looking? There's got to be something wrong with you! :P In all seriousness, Ubuntu LTS is still a viable platform (I don't consider having to reinstall your OS every couple months as sane), so...

So, no distrohopping for you anymore? ;)
A fairly easy to use and up to date system without having to reinstall? I don't think there's a reason to distro hop! :)

Re: Distrowatch Top 100

This distro should gain a lot of traction within the next couple months. It has a lot going for itself.

Re: Howto market SolydXK

There are really only a handful of rolling release distros, but out of all of them, only Manjaro and SolydXK seem to have a similar goal, but I think Solyd leans towards stability while Manjaro leans towards cutting edge. SolydXK is a very unique flavor of Linux in this regard, and the people sick o...

Re: Nvidia 32bit libaries not installed by default on AMD64

I was thinking more of the startup driver utility installing the 32bit ones when switching from the non-free driver.

Thank you for making this half-rolling release Distro.

I just Distro hopped from Kubuntu LTS -> Debian Stable KDE -> Debian Testing KDE, and now I'm here. Basically, I want a fairly up to date system without running into a catastrophic system failure by simply updating. LTS and Debian Stable gets outdated pretty quickly, so this is the happy medium of s...

Re: There is no reference to rolling release on the website!

I consider it a half rolling release, and it's a great model since it makes it much less likely for breakage. Not that breakage isn't possible, but it's an extra blanket of stability. It's a great medium between having the latest software and stability without having to reinstall your OS every coupl...

Nvidia 32bit libaries not installed by default on AMD64

It was very and easy quick fix, but a newbie to Linux might now know to install this before opening Steam. It's just a suggestion of course. :)
