Agreed, and as buggy as flash has always been, I'm not convinced this is good news.

It's all about the stability of Debian, I run mostly Debian based distro's the only exception is I have a old PC which I use just for playing around with, so I often try new distro's on that one. And if the OS breaks, Oh well, :lol: But running pure Debian will teach you a lot, it's like a blank can...

IMO only have synaptic in SolydX
And as far as SolydK, well I do not use KDE, but I have heard that KDE 5 is a big change from the last version. So there I would wait. And as suggested above, use something different there.

Jom, I just open snyaptic type in the kernel # in search, say 3.2-4 and then mark all for removal , and it's done. The rest i use bleachbit to clean up, after a large UP, and once I'm sure everything is working ok. And if an old guy like me can do this, anyone can. :lol:

This is just human nature at work. Heck, you even see how extreme some Linux users are between distro's Having so many choices is a great thing, people will find what works, and if it suits there needs. Also, in the forums you find some very helpful pleasent people, and you find some real bitter one...
