New nightlies with new design: http://downloads.solydxk.nl/nightly/
The packages containing the new design are not yet uploaded to the repository. I will need to change the logos in our sites and probably other places as well and I need to do that more or less at the same time.

You can follow the design topic here: http://forums.solydxk.nl/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=6038

Current nightlies are the RCs: http://downloads.solydxk.nl/nightly/
Minor bugs resolved and most design configuration was done for SolydK EE.

That's because those nightlies are the current releases.

New nightlies are updated.

The Live Installer has several improvements regarding encryption and detection of used partition.
The OEM user has now its home directory in the root rather than in /home. This way the OEM user can choose to encrypt the /home directory.

I love the transparency of the Xfce panel.

I like the wallpaper but would prefer if the 'SolydXK' text was fully visible like the old wallpaper.

Any estimate on the release date of the next fully tested SolydXK?

New nightly builds: http://downloads.solydxk.nl/nightly/

Changes:
  • new solydxk-system (not yet in repository): moved scripts from /usr/local/bin to /usr/bin
  • Updated /usr/bin/apt: added diversions, divert and undivert arguments and if unknown arguments are passed all arguments are passed to apt's apt (now called /usr/bin/apt.divert). Type apt without arguments to show a list of known arguments.
  • Updated solydk-system-adjustments (not yet in repository): solved LibreOffice start menu favorite not being able to remove.
  • All packages updated

Changed happily Firefox to ESR, and now all works fine. I think it is a good idea to get rid from continuos Firefox upgrades.
And this RC1 sounds very well... good work, Arjen!

The new ISOs have been released: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6425
You can use this as base for your localized ISOs.

New nightly builds: http://downloads.solydxk.nl/nightly/

There were several bugs solved but it is SolydX RPI that has changed most significantly. When I tried to update my son's Raspberry PI, I found that the desktop was totally unresponsive. There was nothing I could do then to start all over again. I found out that it was the new raspberrypi-kernel package (version 1.20160620-1) that broke the installation. I uploaded the previous version to our repository which will prevent upgrading of that package for all SolydX RPI systems out there. I've also tried to fix the regular network issues with the RPI and so far it looks good.

I also found out that Clamav daemon was not functioning. I got an error while running "freshclam -v" and found out that all our ISOs were missing the clamav-daemon package. Also the CEs ;)

I'll let my son test the new SolydX RPI and when he's happy I'll replace the current SolydX RPI image on the download page. I won't replace the ISOs, though. These had no significant bugs that were resolved in these versions.
