Solydx-9: how to change sources List

Postby Matt » 05 Sep 2017 15:15

Hello,

Just wondering how to change the sources.list content to reflect my country's repositories in Solydx-9 and get the fastest possible connection for updates and all.

Now that update-manager is no longer available, I don't know how to proceed.

Thank you for your hint.

Matt

That feature was moved to the SolydXK System Settings application. Tab: Repositories.

as a temporary workaround you can directly edit your sources list by editing /etc/apt/sources.lists

Check that you have these packages installed:

Code: Select all

gir1.2-udisks-2.0
udisks2

But I think you have those two in which case udisks thinks there's something wrong with your disk /dev/sda1. At least it cannot mount it as ext4 or any of the other reasons it mentions.

Hi,

the two packages are already installed but here a picture of sda gparted output. I agree, i maybe have a weird sda partitioning but i dont have any issue with that before.

Thanks!

For some reason your EFI system partition got borked - it should never be ext4 filesystem. And it should not get mounted.
I can't see whether your disk is gpt or mbr but I'm guessing mbr with BIOS compatibility mode - otherwise your system couldn't boot. I would not dare to correct that situation because of fear that the patient could die during operation. If you can risk a reinstall, that EFI partition should be corrected.
Maybe somebody has an idea how to stop udisks2 from mounting that partition?

Until then do what kurotsugi recommended: sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.lists.
