Adding a short cut to the menu (SOLVED)

Postby troypulk » 11 Mar 2018 02:53

Is there a way to add a program to the Application menu?

I just installed the web browser Icecat and would like to add it's execute file to the Internet folder in the Application menu.

I looked around but couldn't find anything.

I have all the latest updates.

For SolydX you could try menulibre:

Code: Select all

apt install menulibre

Maybe we should add menulibre to the standard install and to the settings menu? The other possibility would be alacarte but I think I had problems with alacarte so I took menulibre.

It's a recommended package in the latest solydx-system-adjustments packages. So, the next (nightly) ISOs will have menulibre.
