AMZ Downloader

Postby Orbmiser » 16 Sep 2013 00:28

Yep had to look up what it does. And wondered why it's a default app?
Believe very few users actually use Amazon for their music, movies, etc?

Also cleaning up getting rid of apps I don't use like Thunderbird,etc...
And Lo & Behold AMZ Downloader doesn't show up in Synaptic.
So how do I uninstall it?

Tried AMZ Downloader,AMZ,Downloader doesn't show up in synaptic search.
Thanks!

it's part of amarok-utils

Code: Select all

zerozero@home ~ $ apt contains amzdownloader
amarok-utils: /usr/bin/amzdownloader
amarok-utils: /usr/share/applications/kde4/amzdownloader.desktop
amarok-utils: /usr/share/mime/packages/amzdownloader.xml
bliss of ignorance

Ahhh Thanks just kind of weird being a part of Amarok and having it's own icon.
No biggie as don't think is very big anyways and can just remove it from the menu.
