Postby lappets » 25 Apr 2017 08:34

The update manager is indicating that updates are available but when I activate it I am not seeing anything to install.
It reports that "Your system is up to date"

lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: SolydXK
Description: SolydX 8 32-bit
Release: 8
Codename: solydxk

uname -a
Linux peter 3.16.0-4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.16.39-1+deb8u2 (2017-03-07) i686 GNU/Linux

Please help

I suggest you try to update from Synaptic.

Remember to click on reload first.
Then click installed (upgradable). Then mark all upgrades and go on from there.

The update manager has been doing odd things for me lately, including notifying upgrades when there aren't any!

Using Synaptic will sort this. I hope it works for you.

Or a simple

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Just Scott
