Merry Chrismukkuh to everyone at SolydXK

Postby BostonPeng » 20 Dec 2015 16:23

This year I created an ecard to send folks to wish them a Merry Chrismukkuh on social media, but I forgot to post it here for everyone in the SolydXK community.

Is there any joke involved in the word "Chrismukkuh" that I don't get? Anything to do with cows ("muh-kuh" is moo-cow to me)? Or penguins (in the picture)?

Anyway, merry christmas to all!

A "contraction" of Christmas and Hanukkah?

Prettige feestdagen. ;)

Oh, I've never heard of that, I'll look it up. So the last "u" in it is just a typo? And I was thinking something like this, stupid me:

I got the term from a website I was on years ago and it just stuck with me. As far as the spelling goes, I guess I've been typoing it for so long it's become the right way for me to spell it although I've seen it spelled my way several times over the years.

Frank Costanza: Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Cosmo Kramer: What happened to the doll?
Frank Costanza: It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born … a Festivus for the rest of us!
Cosmo Kramer: That must have been some kind of doll.
Frank Costanza: She was.

Happy Festivus, Tardy! Love that tree, Night Wing. I hope Santa Tux has some nice goodies heading your way.
