If I try dist-upgrade I get:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
The following packages have been kept back:
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
So I try this
Code: Select all
sudo apt install ddm
and get this result
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ddm : Depends: python3:any (>= 3.3.2-2~) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
It appears to me the latest ddm requires a newer version of python than what is available in the Wheezy repo. This could pose serious issues if update manager or other SolydXK tools also move to the newer version.
Please let me know of there is something I am missing here.
