youtube - audio (SOLVED)

Postby old_guy » 05 Oct 2013 13:25

This is not SolydXK specific - but I thought that I would ask here. Is anyone else having trouble with audio on youtube? I have two machines, each with several partitions that have various distros on them. A few days ago I noticed that I was not getting any audio from youtube. I can download from it and the audio plays fine. This also is happening on live cd's.

I have one partition with PCLinusOS that has not been updated for about a year that works on youtube, but nothing else seems to.

Any ideas on where to start with this?

Thanks
Earl

It is working fine for me (SolydK). The first time I opened a YouTube page, it was set to mute in the player itself, unmuted it and it worked fine.

Same here in only one browser and one install on my M/C Shop computer.

Thanks for the replies.

Several of my distros use the same linked .mozilla folder (to have everything the same). I double checked youtube and it was muted. Had trouble unmuting. Don't know if it is "mouse" trouble or what. Finally got it unmuted.

Put it down to operator error or old age catching up.
