Hello,
I would if possible that the Gnome Disks would come on Live from SolydX.
Gnome Disks is very useful for beginning users.

Two things to consider:
  • GParted is integrated in the Live Installer. So, changing that with Gnome Disks is out of the question, especially because of the next remark.
  • I see that if you want anything other than ext4, ntfs or fat, you'll need to write the filesystem manually (you need to know the exact name of the filesystem you want to use). That is not very user friendly.

Hi Arjen,

Gnome Disks for me is very useful and easy to use.
I use Gnome Disks to format partitions on USB drives.
Gparted is also a good tool to use.
Anyway thanks for the reply.
Greetings!
