SolydK convert!

Postby Fandangio » 03 Oct 2013 14:19

Hi all,

After much deliberation I finally installed Solydk on my main PC today. It was a close call between this and Manjaro but the KDE focus of this distro was the deciding factor. I've been using Linux for some time and have used Mint (and followed LMDE when Schoelje took over) and numerous other distros.

My overall impression of SolydK is that it is pretty awesome. I had a few installation issues but nothing major.

Anyway I'm glad to be here and want to thank all the team for a brilliant KDE rolling release distro...

Thanks guys, and thanks for all the hard work.

I'd been playing with a number of Distros via liveUSB and Solydk easily offered the best balance between polish, speed, default application set and a number of other measures. I'm fairly new to rolling release distros (with the exception of PCLinuxOS) so may take some time to get up to speed but so far I can't give Solydk enough praise.

Thank you Ane and Timber,

I'm still enjoying this distro immensely. It's installed on my main pc which is used by the whole family. So far no issues what so ever.
