NN, I got the Buddha image from someone who posted his desktop on the CrunchBang forums months ago. His version was red; another person took that image and changed it to green, and I used GIMP to change the image to blue. Here's a link to my version:

Just a couple of quick screenies:

1) Panel and background: http://imagebin.org/301368
Theme=Greybird (from Xubuntu 14.04B1, NOT the one included with SolydX)
Icons=Elementary XFCE Darker (again from Xubuntu 14.04B1)
Font=Sans 10 (120 dpi) (appears to be native on my screen/videocard [1440x900 & nvidia GeForce 8400M GS], plus it's easier on my old tired eyes)
Background=Abandoned (http://pichost.me/1623306/)
Panel=32 pixels (again, old eyes)

2) Quartered Apps: http://imagebin.org/301369
Just a screenie showing how the theme/icons/fonts appear in some selected apps.

Appearance Style=Greybird
Icons=Gnome-Brave
Window Manager Style=Agualemon
Enable anti-aliasing=yes, Hinting=Slight
Desktop Icon size=31, Custom font size=10

I was never that fond of the whole Apple look thing, but now I like it, check out gedit in the picture, looks nothing like the bare-bones mess it usually does, lol. ;)

Click on the pic again to make if full size after it loads...

Nothing special. But a nice polished look. A bit buntu-inspired.

SolydX running Cinnamon. It came with the Linux Mint icon for the menu, I changed that to the SolydX icon, I have the weather desklet running along with the SolydX Conky and the Red Dragon theme.. Running great.

Some great Desktops coming in and keep them coming as enjoy seeing other's take on Desktop form & function.
Been stuck in a rut myself and haven't been looking myself and same desktop last 2-3 months now.

slingshot -launcher from Elementary OS
Schermafdruk.jpg
and compiz 0.8.4 with emerald 0.7.9 (can't have xfce without eye candy)
Schermafdruk2.jpg
Icon theme AWokenClear
GTK MediterraneanLight
Emerald Equinox Evolution Dusk
Cairo-Dock (docky kept crashing on me and compiling AWN just gives headaches))
running Infinality Font rendering for some Ubersharpness
