Unfortunately, I got a 503 Service Temorarily Unavailable. :(

8-Track tape? Wow, that brings back memories!! I remember I think we had those in the car too!

Remember reel-to-reel tape? Of course, those were never in cars. LOL! But I remember my parents had one.

Beautiful wallpaper! Love how you used the vertical panel as it kinda blends in with it being on the side. Do you remember where you got the wallpaper from?

It's from interfacelift.com, but it's not on the regular list. I got it from the loupe which means it's not available afaik. Uploaded here http://www.filedropper.com/75963sundialatnightwide

Awsome! I like your pink debian start menu button. :) I got a Tux start menu button on mine now.

On my way to making SolydX, SolydBang (openbox and tint2) 8-)

@RavenLX...It does! :D

There's also a script that provides a 10-day forecast from weather.com that's nicer and a bit more informative than the accuweather.com 10-day forecast, but it's always breaking because weather.com changes things on their site fairly frequently.

What's missing from these scripts, that I find valuable from weather-related sites, is current radar, 3-day history, and alerts.

I would love to see someone come up with a script that does all that and uses NOAA data! I don't have a weather widget on my desktop because I found that what there is for KDE/Plasma doesn't update frequently enough and/or is usually inaccurate. If I could find a do-it-all weather widget or set of widgets, I wouldn't mind making a virtual desktop (clouds background or maybe have the background look like the current weather) that is dedicated to weather only. That would be neat!

Yes, that would be a cool desktop/background to have. Sector11, a member here and on the CrunchBang forums, does some pretty cool stuff with Conky and weather scripting. There's also a pinned thread under the how-to's and tutorials forum over at CrunchBang Linux with all kinds of Conky LUA scripting. I haven't really looked at what they're doing though.

Here's my desktop, it's nothing to write home about, but it's pure perfection to me; clutter free and stable. Of course I have all the pretty effects activated; DT Cube (with 6 workspaces), wobbly windows, auto hide side bar, ect. As for the wallpaper, well...I don't know, it just speaks to me :)

zerozero,

I saw you post earlier indicating you were using bespin again. Do you have a favorite bespin preset? If so, which one?
