Nothing like that here, but then again, the only gnome thing running here appears to be the keyring daemon (i.e. no gnome-session).

I have no idea. But I reported this before: http://forums.solydxk.nl/viewtopic.php? ... 440#p47868
Ah, yes, I remember that one now. No issues here whatsoever, but good to know in any case. Thanks.

the freeze state means that testing only accept good things. nothing to worry about any updates in testing :3

Was a little worried about the Systemd update to 215-7.
All seems to be working.

Not everything I have is at 215-7:

the 'rc' means that you already removed those packages but you still keep the config files. you can safely remove these unneeded config files by 'sudo aptitude purge ~c' :3

I'm actually a bit curious about grizler's issue with dhcp server. lot of stuffs now using systemd's native service file since the sysvinit compatibility on several cases doesn't work as expected. I might be wrong but isn't dhcp server also already have native service file? I'd like to know the result of 'systemctl list-units |grep dhcp' in his system.

this is a rough assumption but since dhcp server already have native service file it might conflicted with sysvinit compatibility. IIRC there was a similar case with samba and it get solved by deleting sysvinit related files.

I removed /etc/insserv/overrides/isc-dhcp-server and disabled 'sleep 10' in /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server, but after a reboot the dhcp server does not start...
that's not what I mean with 'remove sysvinit related files'. the samba case is refered to this bug report https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=740942

the method used to delete sysvinit files is using 'insserv -r <service name>'. you can revert it back via 'insserv <service name> or use 'sysv-rc-conf' to enable it. this method will delete sysvinit files but it won't remove systemd's symlink on /etc/systemd/system. if my assumption, "dhcp server already have native systemd service file" is true, dhcp server will started directly via systemd service file. the original service file is stored on /lib/systemd/system so that you could check whether if my assumption is correct by using 'ls /lib/systemd/system |grep dhcp'.
