Those 47 are affecting Jessie and Sid. These are only for Jessie. Just 10

https://udd.debian.org/bugs/?release=je ... &crttags=1

Anyway, I don't think tomorrow the folks will go to sleep for two years. And also it depends on what you have installed. I've only got a single warning in months in Sid. It was kmod. Let's see what happens from tomorrow on.
This likely means that your installation is broken. -Mr Pixbuf.

BTW, they waited to upgrade LibreOffice for the last day. I guess to get the newest possible one.

jessie only will be released when the RC bug is zero. if those packages were non key packages then they will be removed from jessie. though...I'm not quite sure how will he release team handle RC bugs on key packages. they usually made announcement about these packages but I haven't saw them yet so there's a possibility that jessie will got delayed.

let's just see what will happen tomorrow.

Considering 40% of the Jessie installation media images has already been built (according to the tweets from the debian twitter account), that is not very likely.

No we're not. This is Testing, remember? We're on the road again: 75 updates entered Testing (Stretch) today. And that's just for the packages installed on my main machine... ;)

Nope. That's a security update in Stable (Jessie). Testing still has the previous version. The security update isn't even in today's batch...

Let me resume and understand if I'm right.
From now on, if we wish to track Debian Testing we should replace this source list:

Code: Select all

deb http://repository.solydxk.com/ solydxk main upstream import
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian jessie main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ jessie-backports main contrib non-free
with (just replace "stable" with "testing" or "stretch")

Code: Select all

deb http://repository.solydxk.com/ solydxk main upstream import
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ testing-backports main contrib non-free
Is this correct? Is testing-backports supposed to exist?

Thanks!

No, Testing doesn't have a backports.

Also, Testing's security repo hasn't had anything in it as far back as (at least) September 2005 (judging by the Dutch mirror's time stamp), so you might as well leave that out too. However, it won't cause an error, so keeping it in won't hurt.

If you want to be a 'true' Enthusiast's Edition user, you could install the solydkee-info package (solydxee-info for SolydX users). ;)
