Hi everyone, today I installed ee version of this great distro. I was just running reg stable. Decided to go unstable. So far it's running great.
Just wondering if there is anything I need to do post install, like resources links, to additional repo's.
Also is this going to be continued to get updates. The sources do point to ee. The ISO, I believe was from 2018, so there were about 80+ updates right off the bat.
Thanks for any suggestions for me.

Re: Installed ee today
all seems good. you'll got daily updates until debian testing enter the freeze period again. until that time, I hope you can enjoy your adventure with EE version :3
Re: Installed ee today
Thanks, but doesn't seem much different than the stable ISO I came from. Is the main difference in that it follows the unstable repros?
My system seems to be very smooth and stable.
Solydxk is about the only one to succeed in install on my UEFI hardware. Most Debian distros fail.
Thanks for your feedback.
Loving my experience here.

Re: Installed ee today
we tried to give same user experience between the main and enthusiast version so that they would be similar out of the box. however, the system itself are different. if you take a look carefully, the enthusiast has newer app version and using some different tools. the system is hidden from the user's eye so you won't notice it by the looks.
anyway, enthusiast is based on debian testing. some people say they are similar but to avoid misunderstandings we always differentiate between testing and unstable.

Re: Installed ee today
Great info, thanks.
Is this stretch?
The printer drivers work much better for my HP.
My system is not critical, so I can take the risk of using this version. Plus I'm a writer, and like the lastest office product.
BTW, are there plans to continue with this ISO, and make it a public offering. Was kinda hard to find. Also, is this considered a rolling release?
Enjoy your day!

Re: Installed ee today
No, this is buster (stretch is the stable release) and yes, it is rolling.
There's usually a fairly recent set available here: https://downloads.solydxk.com/ce/testing/
It's a community edition, which means it's not officially supported and depends on the users for testing. Once enough users have done that, a set should appear here: https://solydxk.com/downloads/community-editions
Unfortunately, we don't get many test reports from users, so there hasn't been a 'release' for quite a while. Maybe we should just link to the ce/testing page.
