Thunar custom action broken

Postby ane champenois » 17 Sep 2018 06:54

Hello,

I've recently install a vanilla solydX 64 on a new computer. Using the custom action by right-click to install a new font, I noticed it doesn't work at all. No reaction on the computer...and no new addition neither in the user file system nor when using Libreoffice.

So I decided to dig this bug.
Thunar Custom actions are defined into ~/.config/thunar/uca.xml
On my computer, this file has a part about fonts, with the command

Code: Select all

command fontinstaller %f %n
but this program doesn't exist at all into the repositories.
Perhaps can we use fontmanager https://packages.debian.org/stretch/font-manager in replacement?

Thanks for taking cake of that...and for this quality linux distro 8-)
They did not know it was impossible so they did it.

Thanks and welcome back!

I've updated the solydx-system-adjustments-9 and -10 packages.
I've changed the command to "font-manager %f" but unfortunately, that will only help new users because the uca.xml file is located in /etc/skel.
