Mobile broadband: "3G only" setting ignored after latest UP

Postby francesco312 » 16 Oct 2014 21:06

Hello
After latest UP, I noticed a few changes to the plasma-nm applet.

After connecting, though, I noticed that connection speed had become much slower than before the update and the icon showed the letter "E", even though I have set the connection to only accept 3G. So, it appears that particular setting is being ignored. It sometimes gets back to 3G (U, H-) but I would expect that it was never allowed to drop to 2G (E) with that setting
