Create my 1st application in Vala Programming

Good night.
I'm trying to learn programming in Vala to create my first application for Linux / Debian.

Application which will serve to view the output of "inxi" command and display the information in a classified way system (CPU, network, video, etc ...).

I wonder if any member of the forum can give me some tips.

Link's;

Beginner Tutorials (Vala)

Projects/Vala/Tutorial - GNOME Wiki

TeeJee Tech: vala

Vala Programming/Intro/Programming Style - Wikibooks, open books for an open world
SolydX - 64bts - Debian

Sorry for my bad English, I speak Portuguese and use the Google translator.

I can see the attraction of such a language. I would worry about the fact that it's design is still in flux. I think it's pretty cool that it translates the vala code to C; but I would hope that the translation is well developed. I also believe that as the project matures the little things will get solved in due course.

Suggestions - none really.

I would hope that you would post back with progress updates. I am interested and I'm sure there are others who will be as well.
