Was running smoothly pre-systemd boot. SolydK KDE Amd dual-core,4gb ram,ati 4350 dual displays running open drivers.
Am on my Win7 side updated went fine. But now when I boot it boots systemd and hangs for about 90seconds then Ksplash for another 30 seconds.
Desktop popups with no sound or sound icon in the tray. Clicking on apps take 30-60 seconds to start.
Opening System Settings>Startup>Services gives communication error KDID also other errors will post pics of errors if I can copy the errors and save on my windows side.
Update: Tray icon and startup sound showed up about 20mins later.
Clicking on logout hangs. Ksysguard doesn't show any maxing out of Cpu or application hanging.
Tried booting with different kernels no joy.
How Do I ?
1) Verify any missing or mis-matched packages?
2) track down why it's hanging with systemd? As never resolved and rolled my SolydK back to get a working system again.
3) How can I verify I have the right ALL needed KDE files?
Anything else you can think of. Tho the problem is can get terminal open and run some commands maybe able to give more requested info. Or fix thru the terminal?
Or how about downing latest iso and formating and overwriting my / root partition and leave my /home untouched?
As getting frustrated as never did solve why I can't use systemd ever since I tried to switch to it back in aug? sept?
Any help is appreciated.
