Mate edition?
Mate edition?
I use Linux Mint (Mate desktop) now, but am thinking about a rolling release, is Mate in the future?

Re: Mate edition?
I'm afraid not. The XK in SolydXK stands for Xfce and Kde and I never planned to change that unless one of the two seize to exist, of course.

We've already had this discussion about a community project here: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=6662. Feel free to offer your help there but if you can't contribute substantially don't get your hopes up, everybody is usually to busy. Somebody has to do the work.
Re: Mate edition?
if you want to personally use it. you can start with a vanilla matte debian. add solydxk repos, install the packages. done. you can also start with solydx, install mate. done. having two DE might be redundant for some people but since X is quite small it's not a major issue. the beauty of debian allows you to create your own system
