Thanks,

I noticed it was no longer in testing, but it's in solydx 8 testing, my system must be old all I had was solydx 8 for a long time until now.

I'll just get it from the stable branch.

Last full set of 2018 is on the way. Should be available here in an hour or two. Not tested, as usual, but the 64-bit EEs did boot in a VM.

The EEs have kernel 4.19, so this bug is no longer relevant.

I made an announcement of this topic so that it shows at the top of the Testing Zone forum.

Six new ISOs. Just started the upload. They should be available here in one or two hours. Not tested, as usual.

I'm not sure about the quality of the SolydK EEs. I tried the 64-bit one briefly in a VM and it was more sluggish than usual. Could be a VirtualBox issue, as running the SolydX EE 64 one also took quite a bit of CPU time, but it remained responsive...

Just started the upload of the final two 32-bit SolydXK 9 (stretch) ISOs. They should be available here at the top of the hour.

They start up in a VirtualBox VM (SolydK takes a very long time, as usual...) and Firefox runs and that's about all the testing I have done...

New EE ISOs will be made available once things have been set up for bullseye. The Debian repo for bullseye seems to be ready, but I don'ŧ think EE points to SolydXK 11 yet...

I've just created a new repository solydxk-11, a copy of solydxk-10 minus the imported virtualbox packages. This is also the new solydxk-ee repository. I won't be able to check if it is set up correctly. So, if somebody would like to test the new repository, I'd really appreciate that.

A quick test doesn't show any obvious issues. However, looking at the release files in dists/solydxk-ee I see references to SolydXK 10, not 11.
I have to admit I don't remember how exactly this has been set up. Wasn't one of these 'branches' a symlink of the other? In that case I would expect to see the same files in both.

After changing the release channel to stable I'm getting a cryptsetup warning - it's a VM and I didn't do encryption. No idea whether that will happen on metal too. Also no problem really just annoying.

I forgot to let reprepro re-create the symlinks. It should be fixed now.

That's a buster thing. I've been seeing this for ages when updating/upgrading my own system or the EE ISOs and the initramfs needs to be regenerated.

Uploading 32-bit SolydXK 10 ISOs now. Not tested, except for a quick check in a VBox (6.0.12) VM.

Should be available for testing here shortly after 18:00 CEST (16:00 UTC).

Known issues: SolydK is missing the firefox icon in the favourites menu and NVIDIA killed 32-bit support.

EEs should be available later this evening or tomorrow.

Edit
EEs uploaded. Only SolydX EE 64 not visible yet (should be just after 23:00 CEST).

I installed SolydXee_11_64_2019 in VirtualBox. Sha256sum checked for the iso. Installation was without problem.
But at the first update using Package Updater I got an error. The message on screen was:

Code: Select all

Error while installing package: installed solydx-system-adjustments-11 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
.
Clicking the details button in Package Updater produced this message:

Code: Select all

This is a test update, and is not designed for normal use. Please report any problems or regressions you encounter.
.

I then went to the terminal and got this:

Code: Select all

Weird. If I interpret that correctly, some kind of test version of the solydx-system-adjustments-11 package was offered during the upgrade. I'm not seeing that here, even with the SolydXK testing repository component enabled (which shouldn't be present in your sources.list).
Could you try running the update + dist-upgrade again? Maybe there's been an unofficial version 3.2.5 about (just guessing here - I really don'ŧ have a clue at this point... :? ).

I have tested installing solydx-system-adjustments-11 as well and had no problems.
If grizzler's solution doesn't work you can try to purge and reinstall the package:

Code: Select all

apt purge solydx-system-adjustments-11
apt install solydx-system-adjustments-11

Good Morning
It seems that I have made a silly error. I removed the iso from the vm's optical drive but it was not actually removed. Most likely I clicked the wrong button. So I have been starting the live session.
Sorry to have bothered you guy's.

Currently, yes.

P.S. I'll probably move these three postings to the New ISOs in ce/testing thread later, as they're not about maintainance or build issues.

Edit
Postings moved.
