[SOLVED] Dist-upgrade broke my graphics

Postby Zero Angel » 04 Aug 2019 02:40

Hey all. I'm running SolydK stable and haven't updated for awhile. I ran a dist-upgrade today and rebooted but now multi-monitor is broken, and plasma is complaining it can't start because it can't use openGL2.

When I tried updating I ran into a broken packages program and some repos being inaccessible so I ran it with --fix-missing

I am also using the binary Nvidia drivers.

Anyone know how I can fix it?

I should also note this error when trying to run 'apt-get update'

"E: The repository 'https://repository.solydxk.nl solydxk-9 Release' does no longer have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details."

SOLVED

This particular issue was caused by the machine being rebooted before the update was completed (it was waiting for me to interact with a grub-related configurator before the install would complete).

I ran "sudo apt-get --configure -a" or something to that effect to complete the setup of incomplete packages and everything works now.

I'd like to solve the security error for repositories.solydxk.nl though.

Please, post the content of /etc/apt/sources.list.
