[Solved] Gnome-do

Postby t0psy » 15 Oct 2014 23:25

Some good news
Gnome-do is now in the SolydXK repo and following the 15/10/14 update pack it has updated.

However it does not run due to Mono problems please see terminal output below:-

gnome-do
[Error 00:21:10.609] [PluginManager] Encountered error loading plugin: TargetInvocationException "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."

(Do:5192): libdo-WARNING **: Binding '<Control>space' failed!

Debug info from gdb:

=================================================================
Got a SIGABRT while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.
=================================================================

Aborted

Replaced with Kupfer until I get a solution.

that error message is misleading, the real issue is here

Code: Select all

Attempt to unlock mutex that was not locked
almost in the beginning of the output.
and this is the bug report
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=763006
[there's no fixed package at the moment]
bliss of ignorance

Solved due to some clever stuff by them what know ,below is an extract from a post from Zerozero

"an extraordinary update to libgtk2* to fix those mutex errors (not only for gnome-do but for a lot more software that was also affected)"

Thanks to those involved its nice to have gnome-do back.
